Tips
from
Capt.
Katey
Get
up
early
and
go
to
White
St.
Pier
for
sunrise.
It
will
be
worth
it
to
see
the
most
spectular
sunrise
in
the
world!
Go
to
Waterfront
Market
and
get
one
of
their
great
sandwiches
for
lunch,
go
out
back
on
the
docks
and
have
lunch
sitting
on
one
of
the
stools
at
the
pier,
watching
the
boats.
Rent
a
bike
and
ride
a
bike
around
town.
Enjoy
the
local
architecture,
GET
OFF
DUVAL
ST.
5
Brothers
Coffee
Shop..
A
real
slice
of
old
Key
West,
the
best
con
leches
(Cuban
coffee)
on
the
island.
You'll
be
amazed
this
place
is
only
blocks
away
from
the
hustle
and
bustle
of
Duval
Street.

Spend
the
afternoon
at
Ft.
Zackery
Taylor
State
Park.
Bring
a
lunch
and
drinks
and
hang
out
at
the
end
of
the
island,
where
the
Gulf
of
Mexico
and
the
Atantic
Ocean
meet.
There
are
picnic
tables,
grills,
a
short
nature
trail.
Enjoy
the
island
breeze
and
the
beautiful
view.
Spend
a
day
at
the
Dry
Tortugas
National
Park
and
Fort
Jefferson
70
miles
west
of
Key
West
are
seven
islands
called
the
Dry
Tortugas.
These
islands,
along
with
surrounding
coral
reefs
and
waters,
make
up
the
Dry
Tortugas
National
Park.
Snorkeling,
kayaking,
camping
along
with
the
great
history
make
this
a
must
to
your
trip..
Accesible
by
seaplane
and
boat.
I
have
taken
the
Key
West
Seaplane
twice
and
the
ride
alone
was
worth
the
trip
but
my
mother
has
taken
the
Yankee
Freedom
Ferry
Service
and
she
loved
that!
Watch
sunset
from
the
top
of
the
Crown
Plaza
La
Concha
Hotel,
430
Duval
St.
You
can
see
the
whole
island
from
one
of
the
tallest
buildings
in
Key
West.
